The Balm

Start Small:
A small amount, about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of The Balm, is usually sufficient for cleansing the face with this oil-based balm.  Start with a smaller amount and add more if needed, as it’s easier to add more than to remove excess.

Warm the Balm:
Rub the balm between your palms to warm and soften it before applying.  This ensures it melts effortlessly into the skin.

Massage Gently:
Apply the balm to dry skin and gently massage in circular motions for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. This helps to dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and impurities, leaving your skin fresh and clean.

Remove with a Cloth:
Use a warm, damp washcloth or muslin to gently wipe away the balm.  This step helps remove any remaining residue while giving your skin an extra touch of exfoliation.

After Removing The Balm:

• Massage with The Balm (Optional): Take a small amount of The Balm and gently massage it into your face in upward circular motions.  This helps promote circulation and leaves your skin nourished.  For an enhanced experience, use a facial tool like a gua sha or roller to boost relaxation and encourage lymphatic drainage.

• Continue Your Skincare Routine: If you prefer, you can proceed with your usual skincare steps, such as applying serums, moisturisers, and finishing with SPF (morning only).

• Start with Clean Skin:
  Ensure your skin is clean and dry before starting your massage. You can use The Balm after cleansing your face or as part of your evening skincare routine.

• Scoop a Small Amount:
  Take a small amount of The Balm (about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon) and warm it between your palms to soften the balm.

• Apply to Face:
  Gently apply the balm to your face, neck, and décolleté. Focus on areas that feel tense or dry.

• Massage in Upward Circular Motions:
  Using your fingertips, massage the balm into your skin with upward, circular motions. Start at the center of your face and move outward. Be gentle and avoid pulling or tugging on your skin.

• Focus on Key Areas:

  • Cheeks & Jawline: Use gentle pressure to stimulate circulation, particularly around the jaw and cheekbones.

  • Forehead & Brows: Gently smooth across the forehead and along your brow bones.

  • Neck & Décolleté: Use long, upward strokes on your neck and décolleté to boost circulation and promote relaxation.

• Relax & Enjoy:
  Continue massaging for 5–10 minutes to promote relaxation and allow the balm to fully absorb into the skin.

• Start with Clean Skin:
  Cleanse your skin and apply The Balm as part of your evening skincare routine.

  • Cheeks & Jawline: Start from the center of your face and use the tool to gently sweep along the jawline and cheekbones, moving upward and outward.

  • Forehead & Brows: Glide the tool across your forehead and over your brow bones, using upward strokes.

  • Neck & Décolleté: Using the tool, gently sweep from the center of your neck and move upwards towards the jawline and décolleté.

• Finish & Relax:
  Continue for 5–10 minutes. The use of tools helps increase circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, and enhance relaxation. Afterward, you can proceed with the rest of your skincare routine or leave the balm to absorb overnight.

• Let it Absorb:
  Allow a few minutes for The Balm to absorb into your skin. It provides deep hydration without leaving an oily residue, leaving your skin soft, smooth, and nourished.

• Use Daily:
  Apply The Balm as part of your daily skincare routine to maintain soft, moisturised skin, whether on the face or body.
